if you go to BMWusa.com, just build a F30 3er or a 4er.

M sport normally gives you something like, hex aluminum trim, normal aluminum, or black.

Then for the pin stripe trim you can get blue, or silver.

I think on wood trims you can get silver stripe only.
Thanks man. Best forum ever.

Here are some guesses on M-performance pricing:

$44k for M235i "base", but likely will be pretty loaded up
$2500 + install for LSD (probably the only must have factory upgrade)
$1800 for 19" wheels
$1200 for Pilot Super Sports for new wheels
$1200 for suspension (does it take away electronic damper control?)
$3000 for upgraded brakes (probably a waste of money)
______
$53,700 + install costs ($50,700 without brake upgrade)
I think you do loose the electronic damper with the M Performance Sport suspension

They sure do make it a difficult choice. I really like the gloss black trim that comes with the sport also. But you don't get the ground effect, ahh

Perfect from all angles except of one

A stunner. This is how I describe this care. The front fascia is so beautiful and aggressive.
The 3 series look at you and say "hey I'm a shy girl". The 2 series look at you and say "Are you talking to me?" :-)

But in my opinion, this perfection at the front affected somehow the rear of the car that seems not coping with the design. I don't say it's ugly, no, the problem with the rear end is, that the front fascia is so perfect it collapses it in comparison.

The rear will look better when the car is dropped and proper sized exhaust tips to go with the large diffuser. With that said I like the rear.

Definite must have options, for me at least: M LSD, M Performance LED Steering Wheel, Maybe some M Carbon bits for the rear and front, maybe M Performance Brakes? Need more info on that

Oh and of course the optional 19" M wheels but need more info and pricing

Really like the styling, much better than the 1er. Looks like ~1550kg with the auto, over 3400lbs. That's disappointing but not unexpected.

Re: M2... Don't see an M2 happening anytime soon if ever. Can't see what engine/tune they would use to differentiate it enough from the "M"235 and not get too close to the M3/4 in terms of power.

I think your prices are high..
My guesses are:
M-LSD $1750
M-performance brakes $1500
M-performance suspension $1000
19 inch wheels $900

Maybe I'm just too optimistic

I absolutely love the front and the back. The back is sleek and elegant with the thin bit of metal above the rear lights (rear 3/4 view) and reminds me of certain styling elements from the '80s. Those are things that make cars not getting boring and BMW know how to do this kind of design. (f.ex. Audi doesn't; R8 exception aside) The downside is most of the people need some time to get used to this bits. Some prefer simple, nice design that soon becomes boring, I do not. Few tiny imperfections lead to the perfection. For me at least.
I like the side view less but i like it nonetheless. I'm sure I'll love it in the metal.
I hope we'll see the GranCoupe too. The success the CLA is having in the USA should make the GC desirable until the 1 series sedan comes in.

I see this car becoming a classic!

Nothing sorry... but it is too early for a final Pricelist.

But the M235i cost here in Germany with xDrive (later) and the same config 5000 € more than a M135i ...

Did I miss something? Is that not a huge leap in price from the 135i to the 235i?

I still think design wise the 1M is the best of that body style.

Still, if they made the flared fenders version of this car it would be pretty awesome.
