M235i Quest

Hello! Long time observer from the outside, and reader of many posts. Thank you all for helping me so far. My wife and I have owned many BMWs, and at this point I have embarked on the journey for our next adventure: M235i. I am working on narrowing the list of whats important for me in terms of options, and as such wondered if anyone has stats/info on how many of each color combo were produced per year? I don't think I want a black interior, so I am trying to figure out statistically how long Ill need to look to find the perfect match: BSM over Terra for <$30k. Appreciate your help in advance, I am sure there will be more questions along the way!

Now if only we knew what BSM meant, we might be able to respond Stop with the acronyms!

Try doing a search on Autotrader. There are 96 M235i (including xDrive) in black. I'm going to say that out of those 96 less than 5 will have Terra. Most cars would have been dealer ordered and they tend to stick with black interiors. I think that combo might be on the rare side.

Thomson BMW has (had???) BSM w terra. Worth a call.

I personally searched about 3 months for the right m235i, mine is red exterior (kinda flashy I know) but a coral tan on the inside which is perfect for the hot Florida weather. Got super lucky finding it since it just had gotten shipped from Louisiana or something as a lease return!

If you are open to all other options should not be too bad, If you want no sunroof, or 6 speed or have to add options it will take more times. I was on moth 3 when I found a car 95% of my list and all my critical were there. Good luck and don't rush it
