Hi-Flow Cat vs Catless DP
I am ready to order upgrades. BM3, new drop in filter, new CP, new turbo inlet and turbo to IC, new FMIC, and DP. I am wondering if I should really go catless or high flow Cat? I am in a State/County that has a full smog test yearly. I do not want to have to remove a cat each time for inspection. Can I get away with catless and pass inspection? Is it worth it? Thanks all.

Remember that just because you go with a catted downpipe does not mean you will pass emissions.
You will need to get the active autowerke catted downpipe with GESI EPA-approved cats

Check with your state to see how many non readiness codes you can have.
In some states you can pass with 1 readiness code showing incomplete.

I have MAF P0100 and DP P0420 codes after upgrading. Can these be coded out?

Honestly removing the dp is such a easy job on the n55 and paying that extra money for the catted version would not be worth it in my opinion if the police in your contry will not impound your car like every week

Interesting, i know of a car in Vegas that did not pass emission with catless and a tuner. no CEL either

Yeah IDK....I was curious if mine would pass cause of the downpipe. Guy said if there's no CEL then there isn't an issue. So we gave it a shot and it passed. Nevada is a different test than here. They just plug into the port in this county. Another county over doesn't do it at all.
