O2 Spacer on Catless Downpipe

Has anyone been able to install o2 spacers with the cat still on the car? It is a pain to get to the lower o2 sensor and also a pain to take the cat off to install. Thanks.

FYI I don't think anybody with a N55 EWG has had success with spacers if the goal is to fool the ECU to not display a CEL

Spacers and Cat Simulators use to work with the older Siemens DME (think N54).

However, with the N55 Bosch ECU, it doesn't.

It's only a matter of time before the computers senses something is out of bound with the downstream 02 sensor and throws an error code.

Hence the reason spacers no longer popular or else everyone would of jump on them by now..

The only way to avoid a CEL with a test pipe is a tune to disable the rear O2 sensor checks..

I have the mini cat spacer on mine, didn't work. The bm3 tune handles the codes though.
