Having issues tuning (MHD (M235i) please help me guys ASAP!!
Hello guys,
I got a 2016 BMW M235i, and have been trying to tune it for a month now. The first time i ordered a BMS OBD2 Cable and when trying to connect to my device (Galaxy tablet S4), MHD App said no connection. Today I got a bimmergeeks cable and tried connecting to MHD with that. I sadly was greeted by the same message - no connection. I'm a bit frustrated at this point and do not know what to do. Do you guys have any clue of what could be going wrong? I appreciate any help, i'm a bit sad over all this since i've been planning to tune my car for a while now. P.S For the bimmergeeks cable is the red light suppose to stay on all the time? The red light goes on for a few seconds then light goes off. Also is it difficult to take out for anyone else? What is the switch for on it? |

See the following FAQ for the led light and switch. U should set the switch to the right.
https://www.bimmergeeks.net/faqs Also make sure the k+dcan cable is pushed all the way into the obdII socket. Since I had JB4 for a while now, the cable connects to the obdII socket with ease. However, with my brother’s car, he had no JB4 and no other connections on the obdII socket, thus the connection was quite tight. First few try the connection was bad. Really need to push and make sure you have good connection. Good luck. |

I had the same issue. You gotta change your USB settings. It may be stuck in charging mode- change it to MTP or PTP or data transfer and it should work.
