It feels like you either didnt give enough gas and let clutch out too far and it shakes, but I KNOW I'm doing it properly. The stutter is there every time, no matter how much throttle I give. Unlike the previous posters, I am in sport 100% of the time. I scheduled an appointment at the dealer so we'll see what they say. I'm a little disappointed that this seems to be so normal. Anyone else having issues?
Did you ever find out what happened from the dealer? I have the exact same issue.

I didn't end up taking it in. I have had bad luck with leaving the dealer with new problems that "magically" pop up after being in for service. Decided to wait until it gets worse (if it does at all). Seems to be pretty normal characteristics of the clutch based on all the responses in this thread as well.

Very interesting this thread popped up I was about to look into replacing my clutch as I've had this issue for some time. 2014 here and I'm at around 60k miles. Guess I'll just have to live with it.

My 2017/230 has this defect also. It has happened only a few times in 45,000 miles. This clutch engagement issue is disappointing in an 'Ultimate Driving Machine'

On the far other end of the spectrum were the old air cooled Beetles. Could let out the clutch without even touching the gas. I taught a few girlfriends to drive stick in those.

My Volvo 122S' worked that way, too. Given what passed for tires back in those days, that quality was especially useful on ice.
