OBDII location
Getting ready to use the newly acquired vgate icar 2 along with the bimmercode app to turn on digital speedometer—any pics appreciated.
From the forum it seems there should be no issues...

The vgate is no longer recommended for use with Bimmercode. Check the Bimmercode Facs for a link to the recommended OBDII's. There have been problems using the Vgate with Bimmercode.

Vgate is no longer supported. I found out the hard way. Been using it for over a year with no issues. Then it messed up 2 head units. Do yourself a favor and buy another adapter.
Here are links to the my threads that I posted last week. https://x3.xbimmers.com/forums/showthread.php?t=1670900 https://www.2addicts.com/forums/show....php?t=1670853 https://www.2addicts.com/forums/show....php?t=1670844 |

Looks like I'll be tossing my vgate in the trash and picking up the OBDlink MC+ then. No need to risk an huge/expensive issue on a small cheap part. Haven't coded the car in a while and I'm glad I didn't hearing your issues. Thanks for the post.
