Exactly what the Driving Dynamics changes
Anyone know of a reference as to what the Driving Dynamics button (comfort/sport/sport+) actually does? Not the general "it alters the engine response and steering assist and ...) that is covered in the owners manual. Basically that just says "stuff changes". I'm more interested in what's actually going on. How much the shift points change. How much the steering/throttle changes. Etc. Scoured the BMW iPad Genius app and owners manual to no avail.

Note that most of the charts you can find are for models other than the 2 series (this copy is too blurry to tread, but IIRC it is for 1'ers). Have you tried asking the 'BMW Genius'? It would be nice to get a definitive answer (personally, I'm awestruck by how convoluted and confusing the whole DSC-DSCoff-DTC thing is to figure out; one of those German-to-English translations gone wrong). There are a couple of good forum threads on the topic as well.

No, I was thinking of the online/corporate "BMW Genius Line" that they run (or used to). The dealership was pretty useless for me - by the time I took delivery I'd read the manual (several times, for the parts that didn't make sense, like this) and that put me way ahead of any of the sales guys; my SA used to introduce me to the other salesmen as 'the guy who showed me that they have a launch control'. Our local 'genius' seemed most useful for syncing your handheld to the car, or other software stuff.
