weird noise?? need help

Need help…2017 m240, I just had a muffler delete(not sure if that has anything to do with it) but upon hard acceleration (@4000rpm) there is a wind tunnel noise on the right side. Maybe the m3 mirror caps? Maybe just normal turbo noise(my 1st turbo car)IDk, I’m at loss, everything seems to be working fine(good pulls)
Any help would be appreciated

On my f30 it was M style mirror caps, Once i removed them the sound went as well.

I had that style cap on my f30.. it could be it.. might be something with the turbo etc but without having the car here it's impossible to say tbh, we'd all just be guessing.

I have aftermarket M style mirror caps and I do note they are noisy compared to stock, often making kind of a whistling noise.

I'm guessing the real M ones don't do that, and have no idea if this has anything to do with this thread.
