How does this compare to Stg2?

How does the 500 compare to a stage 1?

Fancy new name to stir up new biz or redesign?

500 is the new stage 1 w a better turbine wheel design and is a little bigger than the original stage 1

Stage 2 is usually good for up to 550-580whp, and the 750 should be good for up to 700whp. 600-650whp is probably where it would be happiest.

Still waiting for results from a built engine car to see its max

As much as I want the latest pure 750, I am having a hard time justifying the upgrade from my stage 2. One big reason is for emissions/identification.

Didn’t pure release a dyno of 608whp on Facebook E30+meth at 25psi?

Don’t get me wrong I understand the manifold benefit. It would be nice to know the size changes in both wheels and and size of the new turbine housing (if it has changed).

P.S Mike, I still want one. After buying suspension and some other stuff from you first lol. Patiently waiting for the SGT exhaust. Excited.

It's the better and more efficient turbo. It makes more power as well.

If you are happy with your PS2 power and delivery, there is no reason to upgrade. But if you want more power, this is an excellent option.

Hi. Would you by any chance have any 0-60 and 1/4 mile times with your Stage 2? Also what, if any, lag are you experiencing compared to stock turbo? Thanks.

Chris
Pure Turbo posted the power curve on the Pure750, and it's impressive.

It's perfectly balanced to spool fast and generates significantly more power on the higher RPM.

I do not at the moment. With a free flowing exhaust, Wagner intercooler, and on a full E85 custom tune, it spools pretty damn fast and the power is awesome. I need to upgrade the front brakes at some point.

I am interested to see how reliable these are and power output compared to the CTS turbo. I would rather have the garret DBB center section.
