Where to go from here
Just got my VSRF DP and JB4 tune. Is there any other big performance upgrades I could look for? I saw the pure turbo stage 2 which puts out a ludicrous amount of power, but I don't see any reviews for it on this car and was wondering how it effected the way the power comes in.
Also, I was wondering what you guys thought sounded the best for midpipes + axlebacks. I was thinking Dinan midpipes + axlebacks sounded great, but I was wondering if anyone knew of something better (I've heard good things about remus). Last edited by baldeagleman; 06-07-2019 at 10:39 PM.. |

I've been reading a lot about the JB4 and back end flash (BEF). Burger Motorsports just told me you could pull 460whp out of that set up. Also, a lot of guys are running WMI.
Actually, here's the email from them: JB4 with our back end flash makes about 460 wheel hp with just JB4, intake and our back end flash . I may be corrected, but you (we) are at about the max fuel the car will push, so without a supplemental fuel system to add more, it wouldn't do much.
I talked to Mission Performance a few days ago to see how far along they are with cracking the fuel issue and they told me they put it on the back burner. They were working on it and I assumed they were getting close, but no go. I'd search on the forum something like "b58 fuel limit" and there should be some posts explaining better than I can. The other day I was at a local tuning shop and asked them about the water methanol injection. They recommended Aquamist, but it's expensive. Kit and install would be about $2k. I have a flash tune and I'd need to add a JB4 to help with controlling/tuning for it. I'm torn on what to do next. It's my daily driver.

Hmm, interesting, I'll have to do some googling and check that out myself. In the meantime I was at least going to do JB4 + DP + intake + remus or dinan catback. Do you have any recommendations either way as far as remus vs dinan catback w/ catless downpipes? Anytime I watch videos sometimes the dinan sounds better and sometimes the remus sounds better and I'm not sure which is better. I am leaning towards doing at least remus midpipe, but I'm not sure between dinan or remus axleback.

I heard YouTube videos of Remus and it sounds really good...I got the Dinan midpipe and MPE muffler. I really love it.

Yeah, I have the JB4 + intake + VSRF catless downpipes, but the next mod was going to be remus or dinan catbacks. I am now more heavily leaning towards remus from what I've seen.

Yeah, from the videos I've seen Remus sounds great. I haven't come across one in person yet.

If you are looking for a sound upgrade, get the REMUS exhaust.
If you are looking for power, Agency power intake , methanol injection and/or Pure Turbo
