Considering selling my 2017 MT 230i. Advice needed.

I'm in the Vancouver area. How hard do you think this will be?

I look for comparable vehicles and there are very few MT vehicles for sale. Dealers talk down the price on MT resale but I'm wondering if that's really the case. My car has 20 000 km and is as clean as they come.

I love the car but I'm aging and the low entry is become a slight problem.

MT car

I just bought an '16 M235i in Calgary last summer, so have some perspective. While most are looking for paddle shifters, I personally prefer a MT ("as God intended") as I learned to drive that way and its much more fun. While an auto is a bit easier to drive on the track (I was an instructor), the manual teaches you more about driving.

I think there are others in the same boat who would seek out your car over the other alternatives.

Probably a bit late - but I thought I'd post anyhow.

Just bought a MT 2014 M235i and the sales guy was pretty adamant that the price was a bit on the high side BECAUSE MT's are rare and much harder to find in good shape for obvious reasons.

I definitely overpaid by a little, but MT's are definitely harder to find and the car ticked every other box for me, so I jumped on it.

My first post on these forums by the way - been a long time since I owned a BMW, but it's great to be back!

Good luck,
