LCI Blackline taillights SEALANT ISSUE
Hy everyone,
So I recently ordered a LCI Blackline taillights to do a retrofit on my car. I ordered them from Salesafter.eu because there is 20% off and it's a great deal. I checked the shop before making a purchase and everything seems legit and parts are OEM. Unfortunately left one had cracked glue/sealant on the edges and I could even remove the glass from the rest of it with a bit of force. As far as I know, pre-Lci taillights had some serious issues with moisture but it was solved with LCI tails. It really pisses me off to see the same kind of production errors after 6 years of the model and a 3rd generation of taillights. Now they want me to send them a broken one first and after they receive and inspect it they will send me the new one. Great, lets wait again. 😠 I hope it won't happen to anyone else and that it was only a one time error. If anything similair happened to anyone, be sure to share your experience. |

Are you for certain that will cause condensation?
In the pre-LCI it was the thin rubber gasket that was the culprit.
