BMW Remote for Androids
Oh, you have an Android phone and you paid for the technology package, so you're wanting to use the BMW Remote app? Sorry, not available in the US.

Already tried with my Galaxy Note 3. The app loads, runs, and login with BMW Assist credentials all good. Like others, even a picture of car with the correct VIN appears in the display.
None of the functions run as they all report the same error message. Come May I will get an old iPhone and BMW snap in for it. Correction: $15 Family Share Add a phone to plan has expired, back up to $40 a month! Last edited by Delnari; 03-28-2014 at 04:28 PM.. |

This is one if the reasons I chose iphone over android. I don't want my $200 phone to restrict the features of my $50,000 car.

Went out pickup up an iPod iTouch 5th Gen over the weekend and now I have BMW Remote working The US version removed the ventilation control timer autostart function from the app; as it is on it from European app version. The other bad news is the 5th Gen iPod does allow for BMW App support yet
