Talking Pure Turbo B58 Stage 1 & Stage 2 Thread

Hi,
i decided to create this Pure Turbo thread so we can all share pictures, videos, results of Pure Turbo B58 kits.

Please share your results with your list of mods



Stage 1



BMW B58 Stage 1 Upgrade

- Custom Billet Compressor wheel
- CNC Machined
- High Speed VSR Balanced

On stock car other than an air filter and 93 octane we gained over 30whp and 20ft/lbs with no tune.
On same stock car with only an air filter, JB4, and 93 octane / meth we made 481.18whp and 437.84 ft/lbs


Stage 2



BMW B58 PURE Stage 2 Upgrade

- 542whp @23psi
- Custom Billet Compressor wheel
- Custom Turbine wheel
- CNC Machined
- High Speed VSR Balanced
- Spools like the stock turbo

At what point do you have to run a different fuel setup?

What about improvements in cooling capacity - at what point does that need to be addressed? And, in what order do you address it; e.g., higher-capacity intercooler, radiator, and/or oil cooler, real ceramic coating of the header and/or downpipe, etc.?

In the past, I've run Swaintech's ceramic coating on a boosted turbo motor with good results. I didn't collect data, but the length of time I had to wait before I could place my hand on the turbo housing after three pulls was reduced by quite a few minutes. It wouldn't even be worth it without an LSD, absolutely no way you're putting any of that boost power down with 1 wheel spinning
