Door ding repair ?
I picked up another door ding This time I saw the guy do it and his company name was plastered on the door so I sent off a blast to make myself feel better, but now need to think about whether to repair it.
Normally, paintless repair is fine but this particular hit is on the character line on the rear quarter where the windows don't roll down to give access to the backside of the sheet metal. There are two possible options:
Any thoughts? |

so the two methods: hole in door frame and tail light are the only choices ?
I'd certainly do the tail light, I also thought there was access in the trunk for the door filler car emergency release behind the carpet trim |

That's a good thought. I'll look for it tonight. My inclination is tail light between the two, it just seems like such a long reach that I'm not sure that they'll get any leverage.

Sorry to hear about your damage. I had a large door ding fully eradicated on a strong body crease; impossible afterwards to tell it'd ever been there. Check with a good local ding guy about the best access strategy, in addition to gathering opinions here. Their tools are designed to get good leverage from quite a distance away.
