New F46 220i 6MT

2017 220i 6MT. It's Glacier Silver Metallic with Black Leather.

Has most options except for the automatic transmission and glass roof.

Ordered in November, just took delivery today.

The roof box is factory BMW. Pretty impressed with the fit.

Congratulations and it looks great in silver.

I'd be interested to hear how you get on with the 6MT. We have the 2AT 218i with the 6MT and it took us some time to get used to the fact that you can't pull away from a rolling stop in 2nd. You know the type, when you slow down at a traffic circle but don't come to a standstill before accelerating away and not engaging first gear?

The F46 is replacing an E91 (that had a glorious 3.0 N52). While the F46 is by no means as quick as the old E91, low-end power from the 2.0T is impressive (especially from 180RPM+). That said, we've only driven about 150 miles so probably a little too early to provide a full report.

In other news, just realized that the F46 has automatic rev matching when down-shifting. Hilarious.
