Exclamation GFB (GoFastBits) DV+ T9356 Anyone?

Hi Gents,

Does any one have tried this Diverter Valve GFB (GoFastBits) DV+ T9356 in the M235i (F22)?
It's more simple than Forge Motorsport Blow Off Valve Kit for BMW M235i (FMDVF22A) and more friendly price $130 USD.

We have 2 on the way to us for testing. We should have them Tuesday. Assuming they work as advertised, this will be the best DV solution for the N55!

Definitely a better option than the Forge one if it lives up to its promises.

You'll dyno the behavior? logs? Before and after, test on Stock, Stage 1 & Stage 2 (of your turbos)?

Thanks for the update and keep us posted if you are so kind.

Can we purchase it from you or do we have to order it from their Australian website?

No we won't dyno this. It's not a power adding mod, just a supporting mod for running more boost than stock. We already have it running on a Stage 2 car, working great. Ran 28psi last night without issues.

Review is A+ so far. Manufactured well, fitment was good, and working great so far.

Forgive the lack of knowledge but what is the benefit of one of these or a BOV vs whatever the car has stock? Thanks in advance.

Stock DV with stock spring:
The rubber diaphragm can tear (large boost leak), and the DV can hang open after a shift with the 8spd auto when running 20+ psi at shift with our Stage 2 turbo. We have never seen this on a 6MT or DCT car.

Stock DV with PURE upgraded spring:
The rubber diaphragm can tear. Not real common, seems like it happens to the older model cars with more miles. I assume the diaphragm loses some elasticity over time / use.

DV+ setup:
Doesn't use the rubber diaphragm, holds lots of boost.

Thanks for the info. The plan here is to go stage 2 turbo so This sounds like a good plan.

^It just makes your oem diverter valve stronger. Replaces the bottom portion/piston and spring, not sure about any sound increase I doubt there is a big one. Do you have an intake? You will hear the diverter valve more with a less restrictive intake
