Anybody see this intake. It looks really nice. There are glossy and matte versions. I may be tempted on the glossy one.

looks like it goes oval toward airbox. DInan stays round. Round = more air flow.

Beside the aesthetics of CF, is there any benefit to having a CF intake vs a regular one made of polyethylene plastic? I've always wondered this as CF intakes are usually around $1000!

No. It's just their way of justifying silly prices. Intakes can gain a few HP/TQ along the powerband, but if you run the average power calcs across the powerband, the overall gains are so minimal that the car won't be measurably faster. It might sound faster though and to some, that's worth the price.

+1. I bought the Injen version because I wanted some cool WHOOSHing sounds and it was the cheapest available when x-ph put a sale on. But I gotta say.... the WHOOSHes are worth every penny lol
