Extended Warranty for tail light bulb socket repair

I knew I had read that on one of my documents. The attached image has the campaign information clearly listed. If you have problems with your tail stop turn lights it is covered 5yrs / 75000 miles.

I knew I had seen it....

Just had my 2019 taillight inspected as part of a BMW campaign along with the software update. Makes me think there is some lurking issue that is not common enough for them to do a recall.
