Bilstein B6 Performance FRONT Strut - HELP - installation fitment issue

Hi everyone, I bought suspension kit "B6 Performance Shocks & Struts Set" here: https://www.turnermotorsport.com/p-3...2-f30-f32-f36/

It's supposed to fit my m240i 2017, but the kit includes 2 front shocks (35264545) with the same number supposed to be left or right, but right side can't be fitted because or connection with swaybar, am I missing something, can't find anything one the web, help please!

Hi: I had the same problem. We eventually broke the sway bar end link. I had to order new links which are universal, from UUC. I can only guess that it's a mistake on Bilstein's part.

Hi Alex,
Why did you choose B6 instead of B8? According to ECS, Bilstein recommends B8 for M Sport suspension.
Thanks!

I told you they were from UUC. I called the gentleman. They arrived. They fit.

Do you have a link for the end links - or maybe a product number?

UUC's site shows only their short shift kit for the F22. And while it may just be my lack of searching skills, I can't find universal end links.

If you have the Adaptive M chassis (which I'm pretty sure most, if not all, 240i's have) then you need Bilstein part #23-250734 for the front right strut. I've been researching this kit for a little bit for my 235i and have found you have to really double check the info on each website when comparing prices.

Totally correct,
for adaptative suspension fronts have a "side"

And if you want to use "normal" struts you will need to use the same sway bar link into the other side.... also sway bar link has a "side" (driver/passenger)

Driver sway bar link + 35-264545

But at the end you wont have a place to relocate the accelerometer that is attached to the oem adaptative strut. (10)

So, I'm about to grind off the locating nipple on the right side, and turn the strut 180º, all because Essex sent me the wrong strut.

You don't need to do that. Just go buy an additional left side endlink, put it on the right side, and you'll be good to go.

This problem stems from the non-EDC RWD cars using two left struts and two left endlinks. The aftermarket companies didn't do due diligence and just said to use the same kits with EDC cars, which have specific L/R struts and endlinks like xDrive.

Well Farkle, I didn't see your message, and did what I said, and it seems to be working on a short test drive. Wasn't 180º though, probably more like 15º
