Recent M235i owner in Seattle

Hi everyone,

I just posted an intro on the general forum: http://www.2addicts.com/forums/showthread.php?t=1209373

I live in Seattle and am looking forward to communicating with fellow M235i owners here!

I need help already - do any of you have recommendations for a quality yet reasonably priced auto-detailing shop in the Seattle area? And where do you get your cars washed on a weekly/bi-weekly basis - I'm leery of the typical "automated" car washes because the flapping cloth can scratch your paint. My car is black, so I'm extra-paranoid.

I posted in the other thread as well, but welcome! As you can tell there isn't much activity on the PNW board unfortunately. I hand wash in my driveway or go to Brown Bear tunnel wash but I have alpine white which hides microscratches. If I had black and didn't want to wash in my driveway, I would probably go to a do it yourself stop and bring my own rinse bucket and mitts.

Yeah I've been to that one quite a bit when I lived in Kirkland and it was great.

I tried http://www.yelp.com/biz/national-pride-car-wash-seattle today, and it was OK, but there's still a significant amount of dirt on the car which I suspect I'll probably just have to clean myself (or get it detailed).
