19x8et45 fits without a spacers. It's the same setup as my 19x8.5et39 and I'm running 235/35 without any issues.

I don't plan on using any spacers, as my understanding was that they aren't necessary. I did some research on it as well, and got some helpful feedback on this forum.

That means you'll be getting them soon
Do you have any plans for Dinan or other springs?
The wheel calculator shows that the new wheels and tires raise the front 5 mm and the rear 6.5 mm. It's not a lot, but the Dinan springs would lower it .5 inches or 12.7mm in the front which is only a net 7.7 mm drop or just a little over 1/4 inch. I know a place that will install them for $200 and I found the bump stops for $30 instead of the $133 that Dinan charges.

That's true the tire strut clearance is about the same.

Yeah I think I am, I haven't bought the springs yet, because I want to see how the car sits without them first. if I think it's riding to high, I'll go for the springs. I have a shop that will do them for a good price down here.

Absolutely. Don't have a delivery date yet, but assuming they get here some time during the week next week, I'll install them the weekend of the 18th

I can't wait to see how it looks. Are you going to do a before and after comparison so we can see the wheel well change?

I'm thinking of using this product on the wheels before having them mounted on the car http://www.drbeasleys.com/matte-wheel-seal.html
Have you thought about using a product on your wheels? Any ideas?

As a matter of fact, I did. Philip over at DetailersDomain was very helpful. He directed me to Nanolex.

Since I've had the rims for a while, I applied it a couple weeks ago. All set.

Did Nanolex change the shininess or look of the wheels? It is a bit in the expensive side...

Nope, didn't change anything. That little bottle can be used to coat your entire car, which h is why it's so expensive. Works on all paint surfaces.

i'm checking on this Thread daily to see if you guys were able to mount the 235 up front with no spacers and no rubbing at all ! i really you will do it cause i want the 235 up front, im no fan of spacers and certainly don't want to run 265 rears and only 225 up front which will make the car understeer prone like crazy !
i like the car of Saab but he has 5mm spacers up front i think

Hey man, that's not my car or my post. That's Saab Story's. I was just quoting his post. No worries though!

I'm sure we don't need spacers. I'm mounting that exact setup (235/265) this weekend on the black version of the CI-Rs and I have no intention of using spacers. One way or another we'll find out Saturday

I was pretty sure that Saab was running Dinan springs. In his intro/build thread he shows pics of Dinan springs installed before he got the CI-R wheels. http://www.2addicts.com/forums/showthread.php?t=1197777
I sent a PM asking him about the springs, but so far there hasn't been any response. He did say in one of his posts that he had only 1mm clearance in one place on the rear wheel wells. That could be the difference between MPSS and MPS4 S. It worries me a bit since I really want to install the Dinans.

I guess I don't understand what you're saying. Did I miss something or is that a Troll comment?

He was trolling. He's saying it's the same setup that everyone goes on their 2 series because our options are so limited if not using spacers or spending a ton of money on wheels alone.
