You could do that same look staggered with an 18x8 ET30 on the front and an 18x9 ET53 on the rear. You'll have to go with something like Forgestar that allows custom offsets at a reasonable price (~$1500 for a set).

we are running Zito ZS01's which are 19X8.5 on front and back. Front has a 10mm burger tuning spacer. Rear has no spacer. I like the way it looks but feel like it is affecting performance. Can you guys think of a reason it would feel slower/less stable to me? I love the way it looks and dont want to go back to stock, but it drove soooo goood!

That looks really good from the side profile? How is it from the side...seems the wheels would stick out pretty far compared to stock with that width and offset.

18 or 19 inch wheels?

I am a bit surprised that many of the posts here seem to have a preference for 18" wheels. Am picking up my m235 in Germany on 10/7 and by the time it arrives Stateside it will be time to put some winter tires on it.

My plan was then to put some 19" wheels on in the spring. My 2007 335is coupe came with 18" wheels and the 19" wheels (along with Dinan suspension and stage II) and front camber plates had an amazing affect on handling. I would just go to my performance shop and tell them to dial up an aggressive or moderately aggressive ride.

The ride is a bit harsher, no doubt but the handling and grip and turn in were much better, almost M3 like and I have had two M3's.

Is there an issue with this car that would cause a problem or is it just a matter of preference for a softer ride?

They look good but I think 18s are the ideal size for this car.

It does tend to poke a bit. However, this at stock height (= minimal negative camber).

Looking to buy stock M235i Wheels

Hey folks, if anyone has their stock wheels I would be interested in them. I have a 228i on order and really like the stock M235i wheel.

Thanks!

No issue fitting 19's, its down to personal preferences.

I'm keen stay on 18's but looking for more poke and don't like spacers - just acquired a used set style 397, 8" wide and 34mm ET.

White car in photos below is not mine but from KW website to give you an idea. Getting them powder coated ferric grey before fitting.

I really love the 397 wheels! I have them on my 335i. I would love to see pics of yours installed…getting them coated in ferric grey is a great idea! I might have to get a set of those for my winter setup on my M235i.

Pave Dew: Have you been able to test fit the wheels? They may or may not fit even if they have the correct width and offset. I ran into this looking at a set of Breyton wheels which by the specs should fit, but apparently they don't clean the M235 brakes.

HX Guy,

I think these will be ok as they are oem BMW alloys off a 4 cyl f30 series which was fitted with blue caliper msport brakes.

Any more pics, preferably out of the shade so we can see the wheels better?

The pics I have taken in the sun were too washed out by the white paint. I don't have Photoshop to fix it.
