I have just installed a new Direnza Aftermarket performance intercooler on my M235i and the way the pipes connect to it im just not happy with it, it dosnt feel sealed and feels a bit loose, is this normal for the pipes attaching to the intercooler to be loose ish? Has anyone else has this problem or any knowlage about this?

My understanding is yes, there is a little flex/movement.

Just seems like it isnt sealing when you attach it like the O ring is even engaging with the intercooler

I am unfamiliar with this intercooler, but everything should seal properly and tightly to avoid a boost leak.

i recommend checking with your vendor and if that cant be done with this FMIC, ask them to take it back
