M240i Cross climate 2 all year round
For someone that doesn't have much room to store a second set of tyres.. Would it be sacrificing too much to just stick with cross climate 2s all year?
Currently have Michelin Pilot super sports, but due a change soon |

How much snow will you get each year? I ran the Michelin AS4 last winter and was fine but I couldn't get the car up the driveway in 3 inches of snow. On dry days the back end slips but that could be either the square winter setup, the harder tires, or a combination of the two.

On a 218i I think that a good all-season would work pretty well, year-'round. There would be a minor inferiority vs the best summer in summer and the best winter in winter. If the alternative is a summer tyre that has to double for winter use as well, then there's a strong case for the all-seasons. If it was a 240i the situation would be different, as the summer/winter differences are much bigger.
