F23 M240i - Upgrade / Tuning Advice

Hello 👋

New member here just wanting to ask people's advice on what my next stage of tuning should be for a 2018 F23 M240i!

I currently have the following installed:

Remus back box and resonator delete pipe
Motech pipecross intake
Stage 1 remap by Expert Tuning (informed it should be running around 400bhp)

Thanks 😊

Here are some easy bolt-on or flashing options that could net some additional power:

- catless or high-catted downpipe to allow for stage II tuning maps
- if your car is auto trans then the XHP transmission tune
- flash tuning: BM3 or MHD and with an upgraded downpipe you can run stage II maps

If you want to go beyond those options for more power you could consider supplementing the fuel with ethanol, higher capacity high pressure fuel pump and using some of the stage II + maps on a flash tune, or do custom tuning

The XHP transmission tune is the single mod that has transformed the car the most for me.

im not familiar with your tune, but given this is the most important step in your build, I would run the more proven bootmod3 instead.

Pair it with a catted downpipe (preferably active autowerke), an intake, and lowering springs w/ spacers and you are all set.
