Unofficial Sparkling Brown Thread
Going to call this the Sparkling Brown thread...because there wasn't one when I ordered!
Almost blackish brown: Might as well be black: You can see chocolate and even root beer tones in these two: And plumish hues coming through in these: these last two are great because they are almost the same but the first has just a touch of sunlight hitting the car and you can see the difference.

Thanks! It's certainly nicer than some of the other browns. I had a sense it was going to look great and I just had to go with my gut...thankfully, it worked out!

Yes it is...standard metallic color, not individual or custom!

Yes! I considered the moonlight for a while, but I liked the track pack better on the brown...Moonlight is definitely very rare, especially on coupes...convertibles there are some out there.

Looks awesome in bright sun but looks beige-ish in cloudy conditions. Looks pretty good under the lights at night too.
I was considering the brown but don't wash my car quite enough for the color. |

I realized on my ED trip that brown that's close to black might as well be black for cleaning purposes...

you may be biased given your Mojave e92, but I'll take it! It actually is truly gorgeous. Gets no credit. The Chromeline trim and polished faced wheels with the M brakes give it that sort of old school sporty/luxury vibe...which is what I was going for. Unless you've got over 400 hp, body kits are basically like photo shopping.

But yea...that color is simply stunning. Definitely didn't know they had it for the 2-series. It's the perfect combination of classy, sporty and exclusiveness when you go to the dealership. Even people at the dealership didn't know what color Mojave was. |

Thanks!
A few more from a recent wash I did...finally the sun is coming out in full force and the color can be appreciated more! No it hasn't been repainted...just standard bumper not matching metal paint issue going on here!
