Other upgrades include fold in mirrors, comfort pack, harmon kardon stereo, electric seats, adaptive m sport suspension, black panel display, sun protection glass, and on Thursday I will be wrapping the roof in gloss black.

Very nice! You might be the first member here with the brakes. How do they feel? Will you be taking the car to the track ? Curious as to whether these super expensive brakes are a worthwhile upgrade

wow mate it looks amazing.

I got mine 2 weeks ago in the same colour. I didn't get the M Performance braking, just the M Sport Blue Callipers. I've got the same wheels, and body kit, plus the interior panels, and pedal covers, and I went for the M Performance steering wheel.

How much was the M Performance braking, and M performance back box?

You must be over the moon!!!!

@Ramos They feel a lot stronger, I hit them dead at around 50mph a couple of days ago and the car stops incredibly quick.

@V5M235i The brakes were about £2,000, and the back box was £900 fitted. I think the red calipers and brakes really suit this car as well, and I just thought sod it, bit of an impulse buy but overall I'm very happy. The exhaust (if you don't have it) is PHENOMINAL, what a difference. I immediately noticed the M235i is a lot quieter than the M135i comparing both standard exhausts (I bet BMW have done this to tell more M Perf exhausts on the M235i) and when you put the M Performance exhaust on the M235i the hole thing just comes to life. Pops, burbles, splutters on the over-run, and the most sensational howl at full pelt around 6000 rpm. I've ordered a gopro car suction cup so when that comes I will post some videos.

Thanks boxman, that will look really smart. I'm still 'pondering' a decat but not sure if it will sound stupid, watched a few videos of the E46 M3 with a decat which sounds a bit too much for me. That said I still want more noise, not something the neighbours will get angry with on idle — any ideas?

Well I got my catted downpipe put on on Friday and no complaints from the neighbours yet. Noise wise it's quite well behaved. I'll be honest it is louder on cold starts than with just the mpe but quietens as soon as you drive forwards. You can't tell its on when just cruising. I wouldn't want a decat now after hearing how loud it is now when I floor it 😃 Maybe this is what you need.

Where did you find the Silver Winglets for the outlet grilles? I've been looking for them with no luck.
