Cosmo Racing Short Shifter
While looking at short shift kit options for the 2 series, I came across something peculiar. Cosmo Racing (which I've never heard of until today) apparently makes a short shifter for the F22. I can't find any info online about this kit, apart from one or two install guide videos on a 220i. It's also remarkably cheap at $120, compared to the $400+ for Turner or other reputable brands. Does anyone have experience with this part? I'm interested purely due to how cheap it is; I might just buy it and be the guinea pig if no one on the forum has tried it before.

Never heard of them either - but remember cheap and quality, are rarely mutually inclusive.

It needs more than a lever to shorten the throw... that looks to be just a shorter rod. A short shifter will modify the carrier so the "ball" sits higher.
That might be what that blue piece does, sit inside the OEM socket? I'm not 100% sure. |
