Retroactive for the orignal purchaser provided it was purchased from BMS or an authorized reseller like X-PH.

Can't you adjust the boost on the Stage 1 as well? I thought there was a way to do it using a cable and software.

It depends on which unit version you got but with the newest one you connect it using the USB cable and set the boost limit on the stage 1 interface.

So if you put boost limit 3, it will give you +3 PSI max.

Keep in mind anything over 4PSI on stock BMW is not safe

Just out of curiosity, what needs to be upgraded to push past 4 psi?

I know my n20 would need some forged internals to handle the power but let's just say from a m235i prospective. What would be needed?

Downpipes and or fuel (E85, Methanol)
Intercooler and charge pipe are strongly recommended as well

The N20 actually has a forged/balanced crank where the center two cylinders are offset. The weak link is the cooling and rod/piston combo. Carbon deposits on the intake valves I guess could be considered a weak point as well.
