Android Auto in a M240i : 6WA ?

Hello all,

I'm curious if anyone that has an 2021 M240i is using Android Auto?

I have read around and I cant decipher if 6WB is necessary for it to work with the car? ( Wired or wireless ). I don't want to kill the car warranty.

I've read conflicting about iD6 vs iD7 being needed.

Thoughts?

No Android Auto in ID6. Only ID7 up. The best solution for current 2er owners is either installing the Android Auto MMI (like the one Bimmertech sells) or using the AndroidAutoIdrive app. I use the app and am very satisfied.

Thanks! I had no idea this was a thing. Just installed it and will see how it works on my 2021 F23.
