This was a "no cost" option. While there's probably some additional labor involved in pulling a roof off the line so it doesn't get a hole cut in it, BMW is probably saving a decent amount on glazing, motor, etc. that aren't being installed. I'm sure they are making out in the sunroof delete option.

Not a lot of options in general. I guess that helps the bottom line, but it does make the build game much less fun.
I am sitting tight with my '15 235x. Just shy of 50K miles and still tons of fun. Just last week, the cop patrolling the parking lot at work gave a thumbs up to the Estoril Blue. |
