I played just for fun. Saw the HUD in the Premium Package, as I recall. Purple is not a bad addition to the pallette, but loss of Orange is unfortunate. Odd looking rear and automatic only really are off-putting. My 2015 keeper continues!

Also what happened to the upgraded seats with integrated headrests? Those were standard in the UK but not offered here

I suggest waiting a couple of years for the M240 RWD and manual tranny. Also, this chip shortage may be over and the options will come back.

Was looking at the 230i build. Anyone know if the convenience package is included in MSport package ? It doesn’t say that on the msport screen but when you get to packages , it’s included at zero cost

Are they going to offer the manual now? Everything I read earlier indicated that the M2 would get a manual option but not the 240.

Its definitely not accurate. I get 1400 a month for a 50K car and 2500 down. Insane. However, when you change the mileage from 10 to 12 to 15K , the number doesnt change so its clearly way off.

Hi-Fi is standard.. HK sound system option for $875.

I guess Lumbar Support is now a $350 option... I thought the GDO was bad at $200, yet standard on my Hyundai. Oh well..

I read somewhere that the RWD would be the second model year and a possible 6mt as well. Not sure though. I concur on the upcoming M2.

What is the cooling and high performance tire package? I can figure out the tires but what is the cooling?

Also you can order the red calipers on the 230i with adaptive suspension but can't on the 240.

Not sure but the cooling is likely an extra auxiliary engine oil cooler as it was in some earlier 3 series track packages. Maybe also a beefier transmission cooler but that’s more unlikely.

The only color that looks right with these body lines is black because the protruded door sills are a slap in the face with other colors.

Going to be hard to lease these any time soon. The numbers are brutal for September. Residual is 47%-15K, 49% - 12K and 50% 10K with .00093 MF. No incentives and no loyalty

Have to say I'm pretty disappointed. Most of my WTF were they thinking has been mentioned but as a list:

-of course front and rear taillights suck
-side skirts and rear cover in black looks ghetto/ricer. Have to get black exterior to make it look decent or do an aftermarket paint job, which is pretty stoopid to have to do.
-so cognac is the only color that looks good with black, but no, not available in vernasca. You can't convince me oyster is more popular. Of course you can get the plastic seats that don't look as good in cognac, but WTF!, with the sensatec you can't get lumbar support. A must for my bad back. Again WTF!
-live cockpit pro should be standard at this price point.

20+ year 3 series owner looking to make the switch, obviously will have to wait to see how this car drives before making a decision but quick question - BMW loves torturing us and it looks like the base LED headlights look like they don't have the LED daylight signature seen in all the promos. Any real life photos of how the ghetto headlights? I bet they have piss poor light output as well.

I like custom ordering stripper cars (non metallic, m sport+track handling) and really don't want to get stuck with all the BS in the premium package and the extra weight just to be able to see at night.

And yes, the fact that the live cockpit pro is not standard is mind boggling in 2021.
