Boost Pipe aka Hot side charge pipe

Any input on a replacement "boost pipe" ? I realize these aren't usually replaced but I'm putting an intercooler and (cold side) charge pipe, and my car is above 100k miles ... so why not?

So far I've only really found:

FTP : https://x-ph.com/ftp-bmw-f2x-f3x-n55-boost-pipe/

Turner : https://www.turnermotorsport.com/p-5...pipe-assembly/

I assume the OEM pipe is inferior and overpriced, but if I'm wrong about that, please let me know.

Thanks in advance.

as you said it's not prone to failure like the regular charge pipe, but it might happen.

If it was my car, I would upgrade it once and for all so I do not have to worry about doing it later.

FTP and Evolution Racewerks are both great options.

ER is a little bit more expensive because its made in the US

The OEM boost pipe is a reinforced rubber and not plastic like the charge pipe. It looked to be a high quality piece but I swapped mine out with the FTP from X-Ph when I was replacing the intercooler and Turbo inlet pipe. No issues after a year of running it.

I also replaced mines with the FTP boost pipe from x-ph. Not gonna lie, I was a little hesitant about it since it’s made in China but after I got it and put it on all doubts were gone. The fitment is literally Like OEM. It looks to be hard to install since there’s a bunch of stuff blocking your view but it’s pretty easy. Push it on and the c-clip will seat itself.
Get it from x-ph.com.

Thanks for the feedback, all. My FTP Boost Pipe shipped from x-ph.com yesterday.

Over Labor Day weekend, I'll be installing my intercooler (which should arrive today) and both charge pipes. All from @mike@x-ph.com

I Replaced Hot & Cold Pipes

I just replaced all the pipes: used the Turner and CTS after buying and rejecting an intake pipe from SteamSpeed. Very happy with these brands.
