[Kinesthesia]

This morning I installed both charge pipes and a new intercooler.

Now my car has a strange squeak / squeal at moderate speeds and under moderate throttle. Around 2500 - 3500 rpm's, generally in 2nd or 3rd gear (but sometimes 1st), there is an annoying squeal.

It is not the chassis, suspension, etc. It is 100% coming from the drivetrain.

I do not believe it is a "boost leak" it only happens in the conditions mentioned above and clears up instantly under hard throttle / boost.

It also cannot be replicated with the car sitting still, so I suppose you could say it only happens under load.

I plan to record the sound and add to this thread. In the meantime, any thoughts?

i am facing similar squeal or i would say birds chirping noise that i posted about in this forum but no luck yet. The conditions where it appears almost exactly the same as yours, no replication when car is still, happens at lower rpms and disappears at hard throttling.

I reinstalled intercooler and charge pipes. I found one of the cold side clamps was loose and one of the bungs was crossthreaded.

I took my time and triple checked every connection, as well as threadlocker on the bungs.

Problem solved.
