I'd like to help, but I'd prefer not needing to download anything.

Definitely an odd sound. Which specific HPFP did you install? By any chance do you have a stethoscope to be certain where the sound is coming from?

Yeah it's for sure the pump. It's the nostrum performance pump. I'm hoping they will be helpful when I call them tomorrow

Any updates?

Did you center the adapter that the pump mounts onto with the tool?

Yes! we finally got the car running this morning! So yesterday they looked at my log and the video of the noise. I called my rep at Nostrum and he told me the noise is entirely tuning related and that the pump is fine. It sounded sketchy to me but I let him continue. He said when Nostrum sent the pump calibration specs over to protuningfreaks they forgot to input one of the parameters. They made me a base map which I loaded up when i got home from work and the pump sounded normal but the car wasn't running right. I got a CEL and i checked the bm3 dashboard and it was showing that the pump was only making 120-140psi. NOT GOOD! I flashed the other tune back and it was making 2400 psi again so that told me that it was entirely tuning related. this morning they sent me a new tune and said that they forgot to hit save when they made the tune. the new tune is running and seems to be ok until bm3 can fix the calibrations. Sorry for the book, i figured this could be helpful for others in the future.

All the information is most definitely helpful. It may help someone in the future. Hopefully they can get all the parameters squared away so you can enjoy the normal N55 ticking sounds and not have any extra noises.
