Offical Ohlins R&T Coilovers Kit
After doing some research trying to find the best setting to run my F30 Ohlins coilovers on my F22 as many others have done, I came across that Ohlins have just released an actual coilover kit for the F22.
Who would have thought after all these years that would of happened now. Anyway, for all those running the F30 kit in their cars, would you be tempted to switch to the correct kit for the car? I'm in the process of just installing mine after buying them not long ago and now wondering whether or not I should sell them and get the new kit. Currently running these. They aight. The whole DFV system seems to be working around town but they don't hold up great on track. Might need more digressive damping or something. The shocks are valved for F30s not F22s so the rear compression is pretty tight and stays that way thru the entire adjustment range until the last 3 clicks (where it gets marginally stiffer). I'm looking to move over to TCKline Single Adj front, Dual Adj rear like dradernh has. Just trying to figure out which spring to use.
On the road they're as good as basically any other coilover in the price range should act and they don't make noise which is nice. I used shortened front springs (same rate as stock) and softer rear springs (650lbs). Street: 8/10 Track: 6.5/10 If you want a street coilover go with Bilsteins, if you want an entry level track coilover look at Fortune Auto's 500 line or Muller line (slightly softer, more GT oriented). FA's customer service will point you in the right direction. |

These should land Stateside in August according to Ohlins USA. Complete new part number with new valving, spring rates, and fitment on both RWD and X-Drive.

Wow!
They make them for xDrive now? How much for xDrive set up? And do these come with plates? I just got Bilstein so I am sorta out of this game, but I am sure others will be thrilled... josh |

Anyone have any pics of the car with the Ohlins on the 2er? Also, for anyone that installed, did you have any issues with the rear shocks having a different size bolt? Also noticed that the ride height is about the same as stock if not a little higher in the rear on the lowest setting. Just want to make sure I have the right parts.
