Yes, the 8.5" will fit both the 225 and 245 factory MPSS tires off the square or staggered 436m factory wheels. The 9.5" will not fit the 225 and it's highly recommended not putting the 245s on them because they'd stretch to much and won't seal properly.

Oh and MPSS says it can go up to 9.5" I was mistaken: https://www.tirerack.com/tires/tires...omCompare1=yes

I still wouldn't do it personally. Pretty large stretch imo.

Thanks for the info. I know a few with a decent amount of miles. I just wanna get the most of my stock tires before new tires. Maybe I'll just replace the tires after 5k. I do t track the car so I assume I'll be ok

If you aren't tracking or doing hard cornering, you should be fine.

Thanks! I've been leaning towards getting these wheels for a while now. Keep going back and forth but might pull the trigger soon.

Thank you sir, yeah I don't track and not very many windy roads near me where I can really drive aggressively.

I just ordered them staggered. I'll get some pics up once they are mounted.

I'm running 19x8.5et39 front with 235/35 DWS06, 19x9.5et44 rear with 265/30 DWS06 for reference.
wait, so you got them machined and they are still poking?

Standard would poke more then, correct? Ayye, decisions decisions lol

Congrats! Are you in Evil Land aka Danville? Haha - there are tons of windy roads around there

Did you do 18s staggered? I think I may go with 18s staggered too.

Are you planning on using the stock rear tires for the front and buy new ones for the rear?

Yes, one are machines 4mm front and rear and there's still some poke front and rear. However, if you were lowered on springs you'd clear in the front, but the back wouldn't clear. If you had coilovers and could give the back some nice camber then you'd clear the back as well. This is only for a 235/265 setup. A 225/255 setup would clear being on springs without issues.

Thanks for the info! Sad that there is still some poke with it shaved.

So If i were to get the 18s - what type of tire setup should I go for, and can i use any of the stock tires? Maybe use the rears tires for the new 18x8.5 fronts?

Sorry for the 21 questions lol

So you think the 255's on the machined 19" rears will clear no problem?

Will there be poke over the fender?

What about 235's on the front?

People have done 245s up front, but not sure what adjustments they've had to make. I'd suggest 235 at the most if staying stock. From their it's up to you for trial and error.

Yes, 255s on the rear will clear no problem when lowered. If staying stock then 265s. The et44x9.5 will poke themselves about 8-10mm. Personally I like the look and it's hardly noticeable.

235s up front on et35x8.5 will poke about 5mm give or take. Machines to et39 you'll be basically flush (what I'm running) no issues at all.

On the rear

On stock springs with the 19's and ~1cm of poke are you running into wheel well/fender rub?

How about on lowered?

I'm in Richmond. I work in San Rafael but it's generally too late when I'm off to enjoy those Marin windy roads.

As for the set up I'm going with 18s staggered and staying with my stock tires probably for another 5k miles till I replace all tires. But I only have 8k on the car.

Absolutely zero rubbing on stock suspension. I'm not lowering because of the MP splitter, but I have compressed the rear enough to see that if lowered it would hit the fender with stock camber settings. You'd need 255s or coilovers for additional camber to avoid rubbing when lowered. The two shots below are the passenger side rear wheel 19x9.5et44 with 265/30 DWS06 all seasons under compression (really unlevel section I parked on). 255 would be more of a stretch so would definitely clear the fender.

Here's the front driver side (picture taken same time the rear pictures were taken). Again, fronts are 235/35 19x8.5et39 DWS06 all seasons.

With those pictures in mind, a 245 up front would probably fit with stock suspension, but would need camber if lowering.

Also, did a nice run with some guys from cars and coffee today through some hills and twisters here in Germany (Ramstein to Johannesburg) and had zero issues with rubbing and the grip was phenominal. Car was planted the whole time with tons of confidence it'd stay like that when pushing it through the turns at high speeds.

np, sorry for the potato quality. Only way to downsize pictures on iPhone was to crop them which made them essentially zoomed in pictures.
