Probably to be on the safe side until you see how they sit with the lowered car. If the 255s for fine and you think 265s could squeeze in after that, you can always go bigger on the second set of tires

Here's the 18" update! We will be getting in a limited amount of 18x9.5 ET40 rears, 10-15 staggered sets to be exact! For the 2-series we'll be able to machine the front and rears 4mm.

Your options will be:

18x8.5 ET35(standard)
18x8.5 ET39(machined)

18x9.5 ET40(standard)
18x9.5 ET44(machined)

We are taking pre-orders on these, so shoot me over a PM of which setup you want to go with!

18x8.5 ET35(standard)
18x8.5 ET39(machined)

18x9.5 ET40(standard)
18x9.5 ET44(machined)

So how much of a difference does standard vs machined make? Both will work with stock tires and suspension?

More of a difference on the rears but for the 2-series I recommend going with the machined option to achieve that sexy look

What kind of Sexy look are we talking about. There is slightly more poke or more of an aggressive look with machined eh?

The Machined option will give you a nice aggressive flush to the fenders look while the standard finish will poke a little on the rears.

Are they still certified after being machined down? Doesn't that change the strength of the wheel?

The wheels remains the same, we're just shaving down from the backpad. Wheel manufacturers always leave extra material allowing for slight fitment adjustments. Avant Garde, Forgestar and many other very well known brands machine their wheels to achieve a variety of fitments.

I'm interested.

n you send me price shipped to 92606 for both the 19 and 18 staggered setups?

I would want it shaved for the flush look.

Thanks!

They both will work on stock suspension.

I'm not so sure about stock tires. 19s won't buy the 18s are also wider that stock wheels. Can someone confirm?

I believe people have confirmed the stock wheels will fit the 18s. not the 19s though.

You mean tires?

Also is there gap with the 19s on stock springs?

I might go the 18s route - lighter worth, better loooks and get the tire width I want. I wish BMW at least did 7.5x8.5.

8 width rears with the performance of this car is a joke

You can look at my pics for a 19s reference. 235/35 265/30 and gap is much better than the stock 18s gap when on factory suspension.

Just to make sure I've beat this subject to death, the 18x8.5'' would fit the tires coming off of the standard, staggered 436M 18'' configuration correct? In other words, I can just do a straight swap of my MPSS to these? Or does this only work if I'm switching from a square setup? Want to avoid buying new tires for now.
