Oil spots on hood latch
Hi!
I have recently discover that there is some oil formation on the hood latch and its surrounding area in a good quantity almost making an small puddle.Any idea what it could be? at first I tought it was some kind of grease for the mechanism and maybe it spilled over, so I cleaned it, but yesterday I checked and I'm sure it's oil. The area i'm describing it's in the picture (sorry, not a photo of my car, I'll upload it later) thanks for your help! |

If you got some degreasser, spray some good degreasser or engine shampoo in and around there then wash it off with a garden hose.
Like stated above - it is shipping grease from germany, incase the vehicle sits in the port/dealership for a long time during cold months - the hood latches wont freeze. |
