Rim and tire widths
Hello. I own an M240i and wish to know what is the maximum possible wheel and tire combination for 18in wheels so as to maximize the contact patch. I live in a country where the quality of asphalt is very poor. I know that the quality of tires has the biggest effect on improving traction, but I also wish to increase my car’s contact patch to the maximum wheel and tire combination possible for 18in wheels. Your advise would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

Depending on the wheel size and offset, u can fit a 245 tyre with little to no effort on the front. On the back, you can fit a 265 tyre.
There are plenty of threads in this forum, where u can read all about tyre an wheel fitments. |
