M Performance OBD stick

Does anybody have this? I just ordered it from Brian at SMC. It is supposed to give you all kinds of real time info on the BMW Drive Analyser App.

I have it, but most ppl use the JB4 or MHD monitor module for most of their OBD needs... If you track the car a lot, this may be a viable purchase, otherwise I would say don't bother opening it and send it back. Save up you money for other worth-while mods. My 2 1/2 cents...

can get same information using a 10$ obd reader and a free app.

I'd return it. You will never use it.

I use my torque pro app daily to see when the car is up to temp but to your point it works as well as the BMW one for a fraction of the cost.

So do you leave your OBD adapter plugged in 24/7?

P3 Vent Gauge

FWIW I have a P3 Vent Gauge that I picked up off another forum member. Took 10 minutes to pop into my vent and about 2 minutes to uninstall/reinstall the vent itself with zero tools. Vent stays fully functional with AC. The unit stays plugged into the OBD at all times. Reads boost/vacuum, oil temp, coolant temp, exhaust temp, 0-60 timer, digital speedo, rpm with programmable shift light, throttle position, and a few more things.... It looks 100% factory (and I'm incredibly picky about this). From looking at the unit you picked up (~$300) I would highly recommend going with the vent from P3. No need to buy pre-installed unit (incredibly easy install) and you can typically find one on a forum to save yourself $50-$100.

Downside here vs torque pro is only one reading is shown at a time. With a phone based app you can have many things up at once.
