BM3 and A/C strangeness

Hey guys, I wanted to know if those of you who have flashed the BM3 (specifically stage 2) have had any issues with your A/C?

Today I noticed that although the unit would cool properly when on 60 degrees anytime I went above that OR went above 2 in speed the unit would not cool properly..

Just wanted to double check if its a common issue or just my unit acting weird.

Thanks!

I've never experienced this. I dont think the tune should affect these parameters. Have you tried reflashing?

While I did end up reflashing to put some stuff back to OEM I found the cause of my "problem" this morning...

You know the thumbwheel below the center door locking button? According to the quick manual that thumbwheel regulates the temperature in the "upper body" region to either cooler or warmer. Mine was all the way to the red so that's why I was perceiving a "warmer" temperature coming from the upper vents... Man, sometimes the answer to your problems is literally in front of you, but hey at least now I know what that thumbwheel does.. after 3 years of ownership

I know the wheel you are talking about, but not sure if that was the cause.

I do not have the bm3 tune, but I experienced wierd cooling behaviors once.

It was around 90 out and the car on max cool was not blowing cold. When I turned it on to the highest normal setting it was still not blowing cold, only mildy cooler air. It almost felt like my account needed to be recharged.

Then after fiddling with it for a while I turned auto off and set it to 60 max fan and it imediately started blowing ice cold. I've never had an issue other than that one time.
