2015 m235i, 31k miles still under factory warranty, cpo, maintenance warranty etc.

Front bumper, just under Kinsey grilles.
About a softball size section of clear coat is flaking/peeling off.
Should this or will this be covered by warranty?
I would think this would be considered a “defect”.
Any bmw SA’s care to chime in?
