I bought the Bootmod3 and the Bootmod3 Agent for my 2016 M235i Xdrive Im trying to figure out what map to use. There are many N55 maps. I have a drop in filter and the MPE and always run 93 octane gas. Those of you that have done this what do you recommend ? Special Thanks to Mike at X-PH.com for a great deal.

Marm - Stage 1 93 Octane, BM3 is the best flash out there. You'll love the results.

Sounds like you are on stock cat. If you are then I'm pretty sure you can only run the stage 1 maps. That leaves you with two options, 91 or 93 octane.

Yes, I'm basically all stock. My question is they show around 4 maps for stage 1 93 octane. They have different letters at the end of the N55 . I'm not sure what to select.

AH3 is for active hybrid 3 models. pwg is for pneumatic waste gate. your vehicle being a 2016, you know it has electronic waste gate so that's the one you should be flashing.
Yes you need to flash back to stock and lock DME every time you take it in for service.

I'm less confused now.

the tunes that have "agg" stands for aggressive burbles. no other differences

I’m stg 2 93 octane. Even with stock cat went stg 2 but not advised to track the car with stg 2 and stock cat. Daily street driving and stock cat stg 2 93 oct she has been fine and a blast to drive. End of the day go high flow cat or no cat stg 2 93 oct.
