After a few M schools, I decided to upgrade to an M car and went with an M4. So, my beloved 230i is up for sale. This car was ordered in July of 2016 with delivery at the Welt in Munich in October of 2016. You can see those details in the link in my signature. Long story short, the US is it's 10th country. Lots of pics in reply below.

The basics:

2017 230i
Sparkling Brown
Oyster Sensatec
Track Handling package
Lighting Package
Cold Weather Package
Sirius coding
OEM Fineline Wood Trim installed
25% tint
29.2k miles as of 10/12/18

The Dinan bits:
Exhaust (polished tip and still clean)
Springs and bump stops
Suspension Tune
Badge
Dinan Stage 1 Tune (currently removed from car)

Condition:

Car is in very good condition. All paint is original and was coated when new with CS-II Titanium by Show Car Perfection in Anaheim Hills, CA. The Fineline wood trim has this coating as well.

The front bumper does have some rock chips as would be expected. It also has a couple scuffs on the underside.

I am fairly OCD...the rest of the body is clean, no dings/dents. The coating has helped to minimize swirling. The wheels have absolutely no curb rash, not one of them!

Front brakes are about 50% life, rear about 75%. Tires are about 50% and are factory Michelin PSS, second set.

Inside is clean, this car probably has had a passenger in it less than 1% of its total drive time. No kids, no pets, no fingernail pecks, no bolster wear, etc.

Car has been serviced at South Bay BMW in Torrance and I have records. Dinan exhaust was installed by Dinan and springs/bump stops by Eurocode (Dinan dealer in Torrance).

Dinan bits:

The Dinan Stage 1 Tune has been removed because Dinan is trying to sort out why the tune for the B46/48/58 cars is throwing codes - appears to have to do with how they send signals to the various sensors. The car has never had any mechanical issues or needed to be fixed because of the tune, and the problems always disappear on code elimination. It was getting to be too much work, so the tune came out.

Anyway, Dinan has already replaced the module once. And, all the Dinan bits (including the tune) and car are warrantied by them for the rest of the 4/50. All receipts for Dinan items required to transfer Dinan warranty to new owner are included. I am happy to include the tune with the car, but note the issues persist. Car has absolutely no problems without the tune. From what I've heard/read the JB4 doesn't have these problems. In all reality, if I were doing it again, I'd go with the JB4 for the tune and Dinan for the suspension/exhaust.

I am asking $25k. The car is super clean. This is "below" KBB, but I realize KBB is usually unrealistic anyway. I don't have to sell the car, so I'm not going to be taking low balls. I'll get pictures up later today (09/04/18) and more toward the end of the week. Car can also be seen in many threads started by me. I can also get a Carfax for interested buyers.

PM with questions.

Nice car! Took a look at your ED thread and I can tell you enjoyed it!

What do the Dinan mods do to the THP adaptive suspension - does the vehicle still have that? If so how is it altered?

Could you share mileage/dates of oil changes/any repairs/maintenance/etc...

Thanks!

Yes, ED was a blast. With the THP and the Dinan suspension tune, you basically get a one-up at each level. So comfort is more like sport, sport is like sport plus and sport plus is a tad firmer than original. If we're being honest, aside from the drop the springs provide aesthetically, the suspension coding is the best thing Dinan offers. It really livens the car. It basically should have been like this from the factory.

As for services...nothing other than regular maintenance and a splash of coolant when it got cold this past winter. I'd have to check receipts for you for actual numbers, but off the top of my head, service intervals were at 9.5k, 18k and most recently at 25.9k. I've been trending them a little early, basically as soon as the light comes on which is roughly 1300 miles before due. The reason for this is that me, or now the new owner can get to service 6 by 50k miles which means if you to upgrade to the ultimate care + pack, you'd get spark plugs covered. Once service is done, car says about 9k to next service, if you do it early, this means about 7.5-7.8k between services. Car currently says 6k to go until next service, but it's probably more like 4-5k away using this method. I also generally prefer the shortest intervals possible. No warranty issues and burns no oil. Tires were replaced at 17k and were probably 2-3k miles early front and 7-10k early back (those were still good and sold for lease return), but I'm OCD on 4 new tires and had the time between travels so I did it.

Long winded answer, hope it helps.
