Dinantronics Sport question

Recently installed this and trying to get a sense of its functionality. OBD Fusion doesn't show much of difference in boost between Valet and Sport+ mode (which is supposed to be as much as 6 psi)

My peak boost under Valet mode gets up to roughly 7 PSI. When I put it in Sport + I get up to about 8.5 PSI in the same gear- and that could just be a coincidence since I know the car operates within a range for boost. It's cold in Minnesota right now which i know reduces boost levels over all.

Basically, I'm just curious if this thing is doing its job- since i don't FEEL an enormous difference between modes- I have read others maybe have had similar experiences. Also curious how an app like OBD Fusion would report boost levels since I know the whole concept behind this device is it tricks the car into thinking it has lower levels in order to raise them. Thanks for your input.
