I had the same question and since i think i was one of the first to do it. It's just like the auto but we just don't have the luxury of the light on the shifter, so we're pretty much doing it blind. When I want to change it, I fist put it back to stock by holding down the volume down button for about 10 sec and then every push of the volume up button bumps you up to the next map. I run mine on map 2...so down for 10, then 2 clicks up. I also did it with my laptop plugged in to verify the changing of maps
