Indeed.
The moral of the story, unless you have x drive, is don't take on a Golf R away from the lights in the wet.
Cos you'll get wasted......

Agreed! Also, unless the M235i is lifted and has full time 4x4 with detachable sway bars, then it will get wasted by a wrangler in regards to rock crawling.

This review borders on the lines of common sense.

In rain: awd>rwd
dual clutch > manual

This is the fifth review I come across that compares two completely different cars.

One of my colleagues has a DSG Golf R. Simply hold the steering wheel and mash the gas pedal, the car will do the rest for you.

Its fast in any condition with anyone behind the wheel.

And therein lies its greatest flaw...
